Babysitting Service as a social benefit

Companies with clear talent management strategies strive to provide better and more innovative social benefits to their staff, what will differentiate them from the competitors and will position them higher up in the ranking of “best companies to work at”.

Achieving a work-life balance is a one of the main challenges that innovative talent management policies try to address. In fact, flexible schedules and remote working are some of the most valued benefits by employees as these allow them to spend more time with their children.

On the other hand we have the traditional social benefits like, restaurant vouchers, medical insurance, discounts for gym or laundry services among others, which aim to facilitate living standards and services.

What would you think if your Company gave you free hourly babysitting vouchers for special occasions? I’m not talking about the nanny that picks your children from school every day but a nanny that can give extra support when needed, for example: a business dinner, an event with your bosses coming from the USA, high workload weeks when you are unable to reach home at a decent time and contribute to the daily routines, a business trip…etc.

We are talking about offering the staff babysitting support coming from a trustworthy company that carefully selects experienced babysitters with wide experience in your city. We are talking about having a back-up plan when you feel you really need to go on a romantic date with your partner.

Imagine that you Company gave you a 3 hour babysitting voucher to go on a romantic dinner with your partner during that highly stressful week, or after a business trip. Wouldn’t it be a great social benefit to get a life-work balance, this time with your partner?

Conciliation of professional and personal life means spending time with our children, but also with our partner. In MissBabysitter we strongly believe that a loving couple is the base of the family and therefore the couple also needs to be taken care of. Unfortunately, within the family dynamics, normally the couple takes a secondary priority as children always come first.

For all of the above, we believe that babysitting services as a social benefit could contribute to create a positive and balanced family environment where children-time and parents-time are both important. Does this sound like a good idea? Would you like to have this type of benefit as an option?
